- A piece of information if anyone is curious- Diego Garcia is within the 4000 km range of Iranian Khorramshahr missiles and Shahed-136B kamikaze drones. Also of missiles and drones launched from Iranian naval vessels such as the drone carriers Shahid Mahdavi (C110-3) and Shahid Bagheri (C110-4). Besides, those B-1 Lancer and B-2 Spirit and B-52 Stratofortress bombers are not really stealth to Russian S-400 and S-500 defence systems. Iran has S-400 and Bavar Missile Defence Systems that copied S-400 technology. Let’s not forget that Israeli F-35 fled from the Iraqi airspace when they bombed Iran 4½ months ago, it was a complete failure mission, not a single missile hit their intended targets.

- It seems like a bad idea to stack 3 carrier groups and half of our stealth bombers in one region of the world. I guess China, Russia, Mexico, etc aren’t that threatening after all or our current military leadership is too drunk to realize a couple of those new weapons out there could wipe out our sea based capabilities in less than a day.
- Jimmy Dore misses the point. The US is a continent away and so must used Military ships if it wishes to involve themselves in a conflict. Whether or not we should actually be in the conflict is the question. That said, I think that US involvement is a mistake.
