• Not at all minimal. Have just wasted an entire day of what’s left of my precious life, waiting in for a delivery requiring my signature. UPS changed its mind and decided not to bother to deliver it until the next day. So now I have to wait in another day.
• I’ve been on both sides of what your rant is about. When I’m taking the numbers down, I write slowly and legibly. The “uh-huh” keeps the other person from just rattling off numbers. But instead of “uh-huh”, they should just say “k”. – The Sib
• I just called my insurance company and always have to through the series of which number to push but then when I’m done the automated voice asks for your birthday so you give to them then when you get a human they ask for your birthday! Seriously!
• Agreed People that say uh-huh or whatever when you’re trying to give them the fucking numbers make me fucking nuts. It takes 10 times longer to get this accomplished. They need to just shut the fuck up so we can be done with it. – Phil
• New car? I can tell… so you’re giving credit card numbers to customer service, 4 sets, intervals of 4, don’t you at least make sure the agent has the sets as you tell them? I always make the person repeat the sets as I say them.
