- Ukraine is anti free speech and anti democracy. They’ve arrested citizens purely on ideological grounds. And this trend isn’t unique to Ukraine. Crazy how all of Europe has descended into an Orwellian hellscape with zero economic growth and zero innovation.

- Everyone keep in mind, Europe is still being run by the same globalists that took America over 4 years ago. Europe is a glaring example of where we would be if Trump didn’t win.
- Ukraine is essentially fighting for territory everyone knows will need to be split up in a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia. No one wants to say this out loud, but this was ALWAYS going to the off ramp for this war. Prolonging the war will NOT change the outcome.
- Ukraine’s governance during wartime is a smokescreen for dodging democratic norms. Martial law conveniently blocks elections, with 63% of Ukrainians supposedly backing this due to Russian threats. Zelenskyy’s term expired in 2024, yet he clings to power with parliament’s nod, delaying elections indefinitely. Media freedom? A joke. Government pressure on outlets like Ukrainska Pravda, restricted journalist access, and state-controlled narratives dominate. Claims of church shutdowns lack evidence, but sanctions target pro-Russian entities. Critics call it authoritarianism, but Ukraine’s actions are about control, not survival. The real question is how long they can dodge true democratic resilience.
- Tulsi is right to ask the hard questions. If Ukraine claims to fight for “democracy,” then why is it abandoning every democratic principle? Blindly sending billions with no accountability only enables more authoritarianism.
- We need to leave NATO. Europe has lost touch with even the most basic of freedoms. They are becoming every reason our forefathers left it behind.

Instead, the Biden administration and European elites are backing an authoritarian government that has criminalized political dissent, raided churches, and outlawed rival parties. This isn’t a war for democracy—it’s a war to prop up a corrupt regime that has no problem crushing basic civil liberties as long as it secures more Western funding. The hypocrisy is staggering. If any Western leader tried to cancel elections, jail opponents, or seize control of the media, there would be global outrage. But because Zelensky is doing it under the guise of “defending democracy,” the political and media class pretends not to see it. - Ukraine’s gone off the rails under Zelenskyy. They canceled elections, blaming martial law since Russia’s 2022 invasion, no vote’s happening with half the country uprooted or fighting. Opposition’s crushed too. He banned 11 parties, tagged them pro-Russia, locked up some big names for treason. Could be legit threats, but it’s a blanket gag on anyone not toeing his line. Churches got slammed, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church linked to Moscow’s banned, properties grabbed, priests hassled. They call it cutting Putin’s strings, but it’s a sledgehammer move. Media’s all state-run now, one channel since the war kicked off, plus a 2022 law letting Kyiv choke anything independent. It’s anti-propaganda, sure, but it’s total control. Putin’s the other side, and he’s bled Russia dry pushing this war, but he’s ready to deal if it locks in his gains. Ukraine’s conscripting guys off streets, showing they’re desperate, people want out, not more fighting. Zelenskyy’s digging in, popularity’s tanked, and he’s clinging to power with no endgame but “victory.” Tulsi Gabbard’s calling it straight: Ukraine’s ditching freedom. She’s on about canceled elections, jailed rivals, church crackdowns, media lock, and says they’re fighting Putin but trashing their own values. She’s got a point. What’s the stand if you’re just another dictator? Trump’s pushing peace, holding the cards to force a sit-down. Putin’s worn, Ukraine’s breaking, and Gabbard’s right this can’t drag on.
