The mid 70s to the mid 2000s was a great time for comedy. There is no way Hollywood would allow the JOKES from “Blazing Saddles”, “Airplane” and “In living Color” to be released today. Gen Z millennials have no clue how good we used to have it.
Speaking of the ADL, there’s always been a group you’re never allowed to make fun of, unless you were part of it and self deprecating.
Sanford and Son was amazing. Super racist, super funny. So glad to have grown up in the 80s and 90s when the world was sane.
The world would be a far less angry place if we could get back to laughing at each other and ourselves. I’m English and nobody did a better job of mocking us than our own Monty Python. Fun times.
It is much lower than 13% as the elderly and very young children and women for the most part aren’t committing violent crimes… more like 7% committing 56% of violent crimes.

I can proudly say that in my 57yrs alive, I’ve never watched a single episode of SNL. There has always been something better and more fun to do on Saturday nights!!
