ActBlue officials have been subpoenaed and are now legally obligated to testify before Congress over years of enormous fraud regarding their fundraising platform directly connected to the Democratic Party. They are alleged to have been laundering money through ActBlue for years using unaware American citizens’ personal information in an attempt to cover up the illegal donations, especially coming from foreign nations. Biden’s Treasury Secretary stonewalled Congress refusing to release ActBlue information, the top seven executives at ActBlue resigned as billions of taxpayer dollars in small dollar donations to ActBlue coming from USAID to Democrat-aligned NGOs began to disappear.

Pam Bondi has also been ordered by President Trump to investigate ActBlue. One person summoned is a current senior workflow specialist, and the other is the former VP of customer service, Alyssa Twomey, per NYP. • A 2024 congressional report by the House Judiciary, Oversight, and Administration Committees alleged that ActBlue relaxed its fraud-prevention rules twice in 2024, despite knowing about extensive fraud, including 237 donations from foreign IP addresses using domestic prepaid cards in a 30-day period (September–October 2024). The report claimed ActBlue’s training instructed staff to “look for reasons to accept contributions” rather than flag suspicious ones, and its chief fraud-prevention official was willing to tolerate 10% more fraud while prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
• A 2023 video by O’Keefe alleged that some donors, particularly elderly individuals, were listed as making thousands of small donations (e.g., 3,000 donations totaling $32,000) without their knowledge, suggesting identity theft or unauthorized use of their information. A Maryland Matters analysis, however, found that O’Keefe’s claims were overstated, with federal records showing fewer donations (e.g., 2,213 donations totaling $21,739.64 for one donor) and attributing discrepancies to complex FEC reporting rules for conduit PACs like ActBlue
• Congressional investigations in 2024 highlighted cases where donors, including a Republican operative, had their names used for donations to Democratic candidates without consent. There were also claims of donations from individuals who couldn’t afford them, such as those on fixed incomes
• The House Oversight, Judiciary, and Administration Committees continue to investigate ActBlue, requesting documents and interviews with staff and contractors like Sift. They issued a subpoena in October 2024 and have called for FBI and Treasury involvement.

  State-Level Actions: Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, Florida, and Missouri attorneys general are probing ActBlue for potential violations of campaign finance laws.
