So glad to know which ice cream shop to definitely avoid ever going to again when I visit family still living in that hell hole.
Worked nights at a diner for 10 years. I loved having police in to eat, 4 different jurisdictions and State Police. Good guys, and nobody got out of line.
There is a reason gas stations will give cops free coffee, or restaurants give them half off or free food. If cops regularly stop by while they’re working, the police presence keeps criminals away.
