I am a US citizen and am greatly frustrated by the foolish aggression of my Country against Russia since the breakup of the Soviet Union and particularly beginning with the overthrow of the democratically elected government of Ukraine in 2014. It is embarrassing and terrifying to contemplate how arrogant and foolish how our “leaders” have been in prosecuting this fool’s errand. And now, as Col. Macgregor has well articulated, we have a President who seems to be incapable of executing any strategy to accomplish what he has said is his goal, which is to end the war and restore good relations with Russia. As the Col. has patiently and clearly explained, the path to accomplish that goal is to cut off aid to Ukraine and withdraw all US personnel from Ukraine.
• After reading the Russian 12 Point Peace Proposal. I have concluded it is reasonable, logical and restores Ukraine to the conditions that prevailed before the Ukraine War first started in 2014. And should be agreed to by all parties involved in the Ukraine War. But what worries me. Is the parts of Ukraine annexed by Russia and folded into Russia according to the wishes of the people residing there. Are not part of this agreement. As Nikita Khrushchev’s slicing off parts of Russia and grafting into Ukraine was a mistake. And those lands should be formally returned to Russia. As those peoples have never been Ukrainian but have always been Russian and should be returned to Russia formally and forever.
• Excellent analysis! It’s a pity that the hope for change has turned into a big disappointment. Indeed, Trump is the chief of nato and as such he could end the war tomorrow. Show some leadership mr Trump and do it.
