James Comey had a drop in by the Secret Service over his beach photo spelling out “8647” in seashells. Comey says he didn’t realize the number’s violent connotation and removed the post. Secret Service was not amused. The image, captioned “cool shell formation,” is now evidence in a brewing investigation over symbolism, speech, and presidential security.
