- I’m 55 year old and can remember that anything you purchased you wanted it to be American made because of the quality vs any other country made product. It lasted longer and just worked better and now today people don’t have any idea about that. Made in America, sure it may cost a little more up front but in the long run you’ll save money by not having to replace the item. - My brother is a small designer and manufacturer of his own parts, and with new tariffs on China, all the US manufacturers he uses, their business has tripled. With much more manufacturing here with so much more, prices of parts are going down due to more US supply. Trump is correct. Tariffs are working.

- I’m far more pissed at the intent that they were stupid enough to telegraph, that their plan is to use the tariffs as an excuse to do what they always want to, raise the cost to the US Consumer… The point is that they’re supposed to force the Exporter to eat the increase by lowering their prices. And whatever they refuse to eat, Consumers will choose a different supplier for cheaper, or Amazon will eat the cost increase themselves. The Market Will Sort Itself Out in rather short order… Amazon’s Net Profit Margins Are Insane. - It was completely disingenuous on Amazon’s part because TARIFFS ARE PAID BY THE PRODUCER. If the producer passes the tariffs on to the consumer, that will make the product cost more than the competitor’s product. It’s ridiculous – KH
