- My wife did this, I didn’t correct her because I didn’t want to get into a fight over something dumb. The dress comes in, it doesn’t fit for anything. The shoes came in, she didn’t like them and they were uncomfortable. Paid $85 to have a $7 dress tailored, and bought a second pair of shoes ($45) that she should have gotten in the first place. After it was all said and done I was into this $20 dress and shoes combo about $150-160 total. So after all that, I asked her if she learned anything from this experience. She didn’t understand what I meant. I said you could have for sure found a dress and shoes locally that didn’t cost as much as it ended up costing and she would have been much happier and not have a pair of shoes that go straight into the trash can. Study long, study wrong…

- I’m a full-time plumber used to be very normal for a water heater to last 20 years or even more when they were made in America now all the water heaters you’ll find at a big box store are made in Mexico or elsewhere and don’t be surprised when they burst in 6 to 8 years and flood your house. I see popped water heaters all the time that are still under warranty, the warranty covers the water heater not the flood damage. So at the end of the day we saved a couple hundred bucks to get screwed in the end
- She’s lying, she knew it was $54 before she purchased it. She knows exactly how much he’s paying before she push that final button. Now the import fee yes that’s real but she knew about it before she purchased it.
- Everything is shit today. Even the expensive stuff like furniture lasts about the same whether you buy some cheap Chinese garbage or a flex steel…ask me how I know. Corporate interests aren’t served by customers that buy once every decade or two…they need every few years to keep up those profits.
- Shein’s terrif prices are excluded and I haven’t noticed much difference. Temu just sux! Half the time it doesn’t even show up if it does I forgot I purchased it months later. The future of the country is way more important than weather I have cheaper craft supplies
- My parents bought a washer and dryer in 1984. They were still using both in 2005. The only repair ever done was the dryer needed the belt that spun the drum replaced when I was 20 in 1994.
