• The Media has been lying to me for 4 decades, why would I believe them about this guy?

• I’m honestly so tired how every single time a tragedy like this happens the first thing people do is turn it into a mega political war. Can’t we at least mourn the kids that lost their lives first?
• Just my idea here but how about instead of trying to link these nutcases to a particular ideology, both sides could stop trying to politicize tragedies. Is it possible even probable he was mentally unwell and didn’t have a coherent worldview? Maybe it’d b better for us as a country to quit trying to “dunk on the other side” constantly, particularly when dealing w such sensitive issues but maybe I’m an idiot?
• It’s not the SSRIs but quitting or changing them. Discontinuation syndrome is horrendous and they probably needed something besides just an SSRI.
• Poly sci courses should make students steel man arguments for outlandish positions to understand them. Honestly “he said racist things in our racist debate” is kinda a nothing burger.
• Funny they only describe what was said, never what was actually said, so its all their interpretation of a trump supporter. With the us vs them mentality i can see them asking him to leave a group. Its a school. But i really dont see a point in ascribing him to a political side, each side thinks the other is crazy so whats the point. Its just a tragedy
