- Old guy here. I had NO idea that these countries had huge tariffs on US goods, while we had none theirs. That’s not Free trade, so what Trump is doing is the right thing to do. I’m no expert on the stock market, but I do have common sense. The stock market is probably the greatest wealth builder known to man. But it’s NOT for speculation, because in the short term, you lose money. But in the long term, if you buy and hold, you will increase wealth. I’m talking a minimum of 10 years, hopefully 20 years plus. The market has always and will always be volatile. It can drop when some dumbazz executive sneezes, but will rebound on any type of good news. You just don’t know when it will rebound, so you cannot time your investment. With dollar cost averaging, you have to play the long game. Your patience will be rewarded. Thanks LHM!

- The tariff strategy is based on the fact that the stuff we tend to export (food, energy, technology, etc.) are things that people kind of need. The stuff we tend to import (consumer goods) is stuff folks can do without or don’t mind paying more for temporarily while manufacturing in the US ramps up to make up for it.
