- Hey Jared. How about making ATF letters of acceptance Non Revocable. When a company asks the ATF to approve a device as legal like a Bump Stock,Trigger assy or solvent trap and spends millions of dollars making them the ATF should not be able to change their mind and say ” Well on further review we changed our mind and now we say it is not legal. ” I held off buying a “Shock wave ” Shotgun because ATF could change their mind and say those are really Short Barrelled shotguns and make them NFA items like Pistol Braces. Approvals should be permanent and not be subject to change at the whim of the next administration.
- There are some people convicted of a violent felony that should have their Case examined a bit closer for firearm rights restoration. I know of a Military Combat Veteran who was arrested for interference with child custody and was put in the Llano County Jail for 180 days. He literally seized his daughter and refused to return her back to her mother as decreed by the court. That’s pretty audacious. After 6 months, it was determined that the actions by the Dad were justifiable. He was then extradited back to Florida for violation of parole for his arrest of interference with child custody. This guy was on parole as a violent convicted felon as an accessory to a person who was shot and killed by 3 others involved. According to Parole mitigating Factor in his case, it was not determined that he did in fact pleaded for the victim’s Life. After a review by a Florida parole examiner with the parole commission, the parole examiner found him not guilty for the parole violation of interference with child custody, and recommended to the parole commission that his parole be reinstated without further delay for the sake of his Daughter. He was then released back on parole and after 7 months, the state of Texas gave him lawful custody of his then 6 year old daughter without regards to geographic location. How is that possible? How is that possible??? He’s a violent convicted felon at least that’s how he’s labeled on paper. You just don’t give custody of a little girl to a convicted violent felon on parole. That’s entirely against everything the judicial system strives for. The only logical conclusion that it was even possible, is that God arranged that himself… That’s how that was possible. There’s something more to this story and this guy than what meets the eye. A possible good guy being labeled as a bad guy? Why?
