- AND in compensating for the dumbing down of our youth it’s been our child’s experience in community college that professors are telling students at semester’s beginning ‘the best they can expect to get in their class is a C,’ which has happened in several classes over the last two years here in AZ. I firmly believe this is being done to accommodate those lacking appropriate skill sets coming out of high school, and while it serves some, it has the potential to screw-up our child’s GPA who is pre-med and it matters. How you say? Because when getting considered for medical school or any other profession GPA matters, unless institutions are instead pandering to DEI theory and practices regarding admissions and then such practices fit…PERFECTLY. As a sidebar, I also believe these Leftist machinations are occurring with our credit scoring where ‘excellent’ credit, that’s been earned and maintained, isn’t being properly conveyed and attributed, also to accommodate the realities of Democratic forces purposely failing aspects of our society. – Stone Temple

- He’s right I spent the first half the d the year substitute teaching and wow, you can never push forward with new material when you are constantly attempting to reteach 3rd grade math. There are just not enough hours in the day. – Michael Gunderson
- It is on Parents & Teachers & dept of Education. For continuing to pass them when they don’t learn, or listen. And it has been happening for a while now. My son is in his 30s now but when he was in 4th grade I was getting calls daily about him not doing homework or class assignments. I begged, bribed, & buckled down on him. Asked for assignments to be sent home that I had to sign, didn’t happen. Then towards end of year I wanted to hold him back since nothing I was doing was working, but I was told since he passed his EOGs tests he could not be held back. Luckily my son finally got the message but not until High school when a teachers actually backed me up and told him they would fail him if he tried pulling that with their classes. That actions will have consequences. He finally got it and actually applied himself thereafter. – Michelle
