According to this NBC fact checker if you believe the evidence that shows Harvard’s president committed plagiarism then you’re being “gamed” by the “right-wing.” Knowing that this same guy helped “fact-check” and flag misinfo through a back door “News Partner” program at Twitter before Elon took over—really explains how Twitter went completely off the rails. Shaming anyone who believes or engages with someone with a different political ideology even when it comes to basic facts that we all agree on—such as acknowledging that plagiarism is wrong—is one of the many reasons why the Orwellian fact checkers felt comfortable censoring inconvenient truths.
