A damning new Netflix documentary, “Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing,” lays out alarming allegations of safety failures and a corporate culture in crisis at the aviation giant. Director Rory Kennedy recounted the moment assembly line workers were asked if they’d ever fly on one. Their answer, in her words: “There’s no way, even if you gave me a free trip around the world, there’s no way I’m getting on these planes. The people who are actually building it are telling us they’re not safe.” When the folks bolting it together won’t board it, that says plenty.
