Non-binary roommate: “So what are your pronouns?” Ainsley Norris: “My pronouns? I’d hope that was pretty clear?” Non-binary roommate: “Yeah, I don’t make assumptions. You could identify as a sunflower… I use ‘they/them.’” Ainsley Norris: “You know I’ve always been curious. Why ‘they/them’? Because there’s just one of you, and those are plural pronouns. I just never really understood the hoopla with pronouns.”

• People are saying that the They/Them character is laid on a little thick, a bit extreme. I thought so too, at first, but then I thought about the ENDLESS mind-blowing posts by libs screaming, crying, threatening, flipping out, etc, mostly inside their cars– saying they will shoot the first MAGA they see, ordering us not to LOOK at them, shaving their heads like a Manson gal, etc…. And I realized that the They/Them character was not nearly extreme enough to mimic the reality of liberal women. DZ
• Honestly, i felt like this subplot was almost as cringe as the ones when the left started shoehorning the they/thems into other tv shows. Not every show has to pick a side in the culture war. Some people like to watch television and movies to get away from the culture war.
