- When did parents stop being embarrassed by their kids actions? When GenX was growing up if we had done anything wrong to someone else’s property we would have had our asses beat by our parents before they allowed the victim to beat our asses.
- Stupidest case I’ve heard of. Well, actually 2nd stupidest case. My husband had a case brought against him by a vehicle repair shop that contracted my husband to repair the vehicle. Vehicle was repaired and waiting for payment to my husband. Never came. Husband filed a lien against the vehicle. Husband found the actual owner and he said he paid the first repair shop for the work my husband did. Owner again paid my husband directly and he released the vehicle to the owner. Then the original repair shop took my husband to court saying he stole their vehicle. The original owner came to court on behalf of my husband. Judge threw the case out. The attorney my husband got took the case for free because he wanted to burn the attorney representing the 1st repair company because he couldn’t stand him – Maggie
- The family members and attorneys should be forced to pay for wasting everyone’s time and money on these insanely frivolous cases! It’s happening too often! The families of criminals are suing innocent home owners who defend themselves. They and their scumbag lawyers need to pay legal fees when they lose these cases. This is the only deterrent. – Paisano
