This is Hexa—a 432-pound, 18-rotor flying machine that’s basically a drone you can sit in. Aviation license? Not required. Just a joystick and a decent sense of direction. Want to swap lake mode for skyline cruise? Its carbon fiber frame and buoyant landing gear mean you can land on water, then take off again like you’re in a sci-fi canoe. It runs on electric motors, has a top speed of around 60 mph, and can stay airborne for up to 15 minutes, depending on your weight and wind. What it doesn’t have: a cockpit, a roof, or any walls.
