• Im a truck driver. Its a requirement to even test for a CDL to be fluent in written and spoken English. When i got my CDL there were men from different countries, even one from Bosnia, who needed a translator to test. Ridiculous

• I’ve been complaining about the trucking issue for years. We’ve allowed foreigners to take over yet another industry! One of the last good paying jobs that don’t require a college degree. It’s awesome that someone is finally addressing the problem.
• Let’s all applaud the woman who sent sick elderly people into retirement homes leading to untold deaths. Let’s applaud that.
• The stock market doesn’t just go straight up. People complain that housing is to expensive but fail to acknowledge that all assets are inflated and need to come back down to earth. It will suck for a while but hopefully we get this over with so the people can move on.
• I work in the logistics industry and can confirm their is a real problem with non English speaking drivers causing havoc. Not only can they not communicate with vendors, shippers, and receivers but, they also can not read road signs and create unsafe conditions on our highways and roads.
• Shri Thanedar used to own a pharmaceutical company that got shut down, and they just left 170 dogs and monkeys to starve, and he actively tried to prevent their rescue.
• Maddow is depressing. Media is depressing. Corrupt politicians are depressing. Everything bad happening to our country is depressing. And it’s because of all the above.
• work in an Emergency room. I pretty much drag an interpreter around with me my whole 12 hour shift. Needing lots of Spanish, Pashto, Kurdish and Arabic. Wasn’t like this even just a few years ago.. oh all on Medicaid too. Clean house Trump!
• I was just at the DMV the other day and a guy in front of me didn’t even speak English and he was getting an ID. Imagine getting an ID in another country that you don’t speak their language
