- If the tariff numbers that Amazon displays are accurate then buyers will be able to figure out the wholesale price these products are being sold to the Amazon sellers for. I’m not sure they want that kind of transparency.

- Trump said flat out that there would be short term pain with his plan. I respect the honesty and expected whats happening. Biden would have just told you everything was great and that dishonesty is what people started to see with democrats. - Ever notice the people who are most against exploiting people for profit are the first to scream at the cost of items going up but never questioned why the prices of those were so cheap in the first place.
- I agree 100 percent. Tariffs being displayed will help me avoid buying from countries that have proven to be less cooperative with the United States. The countries that work with the U.S. will have the lower tariffs while the countries that avoid coming to the table will have the higher tariffs. American made products will have no tariffs. This is nothing new. I remember 50 years ago they were putting “Made in America” labels on items to promote American workers.
- This just goes to show you that the US people have been treated like an open wallet, with everybody wanting to take every last penny from you, and then freak out when you may disrupt their revenue stream.
- Let’s talk about China abusing the “developing nation” status to ship internationally for free. Developing status allows countries to ship for free. This is supposed to help actual developing nations develop manufacturing. Of course China (the guys with a space program) should no longer have free international shipping.
- This is not a problem that can be solved with a single election or administration. It took us decades to dig this hole and allow so many corrupt individuals into positions of authority. This will take years of hard work. If we can get firmly on the road to recovery by the end of Trump’s term would be a massive victory.
