• As someone who works in Human Resources in one of those school districts affected by a nearly 6-decades-old desegregation, I applauded in my office when I heard what Ms Dillon said about getting those cases dismissed. The amount of additional red tape to cut through and assorted hoops to jump through thanks to the ball and chain that our deseg case represents is staggering. Meanwhile, in spite of that, our Parish, along with our state, has made more progress towards restoring the loss of learning caused by lockdowns for ALL kids anyone else in the country.
