Navy Officer FIRED For REFUSING To Hang Portrait of Trump Democrat Claims

• You are required to show the chain of command at every military installation. She is defying a direct order and the UCMJ.
• I had a mentor who was a retired navy diver. During Obamas term I distinctly remember him saying “I despise the man, but I respect the office”. These are people without enough integrity to even respect their own office, yet alone grasp such a concept as that.
• Allowing childish disobedience at those levels sends a very clear message to our adversaries.
• Hes the Commander in Chief, a legitimate position of authority over her. Shes subject to the ucmj and civilian law. She should be in jail.
• It is wonderful that these radical officers are self-identifying and effectively “self-deporting.” Better to find them now rather than in an emergency.
• If she wouldnt hang a picture of POTUS then how would you expect her to take orders from POTUS? Its insubordination on the smallest level. She has to go.
• She absolutely took an oath and then broke her oath. When my husband spent 30 yrs he never could voice his dislike or any opinion against the current president. She got what she legally deserved …… and she and everyone in uniform knows it.
• In every military establishment, official photos for the top brass and civilian leadership are hung on the wall. This is standard SOP throughout the military. An officer can’t just decide not to display one of the photos. If she can’t or won’t follow basic military SOP then she doesn’t belong in the US military.
• If she lacked the maturity to check her privilege and ego over something as trivial as a picture, can you imagine what a nightmare it would have been to serve under her? Can you imagine someone with that little capacity to regulate her emotions making life and death military decisions?
• If she can’t follow and implement the most basic of regulations, what makes you think that she can be trusted to do anything more complicated?
• If it’s true that she either would not hang the picture or turned it towards the wall then she should be removed from her position for insubordination and conduct unbecoming an officer. The POTUS is the commander of the armed forces and at the very top of the chain of command.
• Wait – my hubby spent 34 years in Army. He was not supportive of Obama – at all…. BUT…. He knew the Constitution, and also who the CIC was, and requirements for following a lawful order – regardless of politics. Yes, Obama had his picture up for 8 years, and often random people would tamper with its placement. But, every week, hubby would straighten it back up. Why??? Respect for the office of the President, his oath sworn in 1982. Saying all that…. This woman should have resigned rather than showing her troops that they can disregard regulations or orders – solely on political beliefs. She is a coward! -livebyfaith
• These senior officers need to be made examples of to let everyone in the military know that this behavior will not be tolerated. She should be charged with violation of Articles 89 and 133 of the UCMJ and Courts Martialed. If found guilty, she would be reduced in rank to seaman recruit and spend one year at the Naval Consolidated Brig at Miramar, Cailfornia. Upon release she should be drummed out of the military losing all pay and retirement benefits. You might not necessarily respect the man, but you damn sure respect the rank. The President’s rank is Command and Chief.
• In Trump’s 1st admin, embassies did the same thing. The Guatemala Embassy refused to hang his portrait in all the areas that had traditionally had one (American Citizen Services & Visa Application, USAid areas) they put only one on (on an easel NOT hung on the wall like all the decades before) at the main entrance months after he was inaugurated. It was a childish & shameful display of defiance.
