Is the Daily Wire KILLING Jordan Peterson’s Reputation? – Black Pigeon Speaks

• Peterson peaked around 2015, he was exceptional but his breakdown after fighting benzo addiction left him vulnerable to the hooks of Shapiro and the Cabal.
• Daily wire seem to lose their steam when they became vociferously defensive even cannibalistic of their own, against any criticism of anything Jewish or Israel.
• The video about why women destroy civilizations was awesome. Too bad it keeps getting removed everywhere is shows up
• I never understood the move to The Daily Wire. He was doing just fine on his own with his own channel. Didn’t need Shapiro at all.
• Well, as you say, there’s basically pre and post Daily Wire Peterson. The former period is still very useful and I have fond memories of it.
• The more I learn, read, listen, and watch about the 0.2% it really starts to feel hopeless. Starting before the Great War up until now it’s just depressing. The brainwashed masses just eating it up. All you can do is be a strong in your own home and family and be an honest person and not be scared to talk about it. For a while my wife and I started going down the black pill road and have a farm now and we were just trying to withdrawal from the world but I think that’s what “they” want. Building community is really what we need in the US and to not be ashamed.
• He didn’t really have a “reputation” in my eyes. His early message of “clean your room” was decent for teens and young men as it helped keep things in check and have a routine etc. That was really it for me. He comes across as a 90’s liberal who just doesn’t like the trans stuff. Made a killing on books and being a sellout. Should have just lived a nice cushy life after his addiction and battles with drugs. Now he is just a laughing stock.
• Peterson became a victim of his own success. In the beginning he was used to engaging in discourse with those who disagreed with him and was ready to respond to them with a reasonable understanding of their positions. As time went on, I watched as his sycophantic echo chamber made him intellectually flabby and he would become hysterical when challenged rather than responding to the actual arguments as he stopped interacting with, or reflecting on, his oppositions ideas and objections. I find him insufferable and sophistic now.
• I’m going to go ahead and say that “yes, joining DW has hurt JPs reputation.” He went from a semi-spiritual professor to what appears to be a radical religious zealot. Shilling for Israel doesn’t help.
• No. I don’t think so at all. It gave him an extended platform, solidified his status as a conservative author/thinker and it has made him more popular within that base than ever before. He now has one of the largest political/social commentary accounts on the site and certainly one of the most viewed. I don’t see how any of that means he is killing his reputation. If you mean academically, he published hundreds of papers and the reputation of his academic work was enhanced by his “public intellectual” status. People think its cool to hate on him now and loads of people in this community probably think so as well – but these critiques are often just shallow and empty and rely on showing clips of him crying or something, like you have.
