Federal New York Judge Rebels Against Supreme Court Ruling

• They keep doing it because NOTHING HAPPENS to them. SICKENING.
• Why can’t these Judges be held in contempt. They must be removed.
• If judges are going againt the Supreme court, why should we go by what they have to say. In my eyes it makes the court system irrelevant.
• Lol so if lower courts can just reject SCOTUS rulings, then can’t we just ignore the loss we took yesterday
• Judge Ramos is what we in law enforcement call a “crooked judge”. Far too many of them these days.
• After the last two rulings by SCOTUS IF this were to make it back to their court they are liable to reverse their previous ruling and agree with this judge . I have absolutely ZERO faith in SCOTUS when it comes to 2A

• “Why did THIS judge go against the grain?” Because just yesterday the Supreme Court ruled against the 2nd Amendment.
• Definitely not, “Good behavior”. Judge needs impeached. And I know it’s a precedent now, but I’d love to know where “common use” appears in 2A.
• Can we really expect lower court judges to respect the decisions of the supreme court, when the supreme court doesn’t respect their own decisions?
• Why wouldn’t this happen, they already proved they are more powerful than the president so why not the supreme court too? We are learning very quickly that district court judges run this country and will remain so as long as no one stops them.
• Rights aren’t rights if they can take them away. They’re only privileges-that’s all we’ve ever had. The only thing keeping this country together is 1A & 2A privileges. If you want to retain and grow these privileges, you need a movement and not just an organization like the NRA.
• What is actually crazy is that here in New York, to even get a permit to purchase you need to get fingerprinted, supply references, hand over social media passwords, go through 12 hours of training, go through an in-person interview and wait sometimes well over a year before you’re approved. Overall, this process can cost upwards of $1500. Its crazy.
