- In regards to Ukraine, sure, it’s much easier (sort of), because the war is literally won by Russia- it is what it is. It’s just a matter of Ukraine accepting the conditions that the Russian impose. The Iran situation is the most complicated from my point of view. That’s because Russia has a formal alliance with Iran- via BRICS membership, which Iran obtained. So, they’re in a tricky position, where peace talks are predicated on the US requirements of Iran being stopped, de-funded, sanctioned, and put back in their place- because they fund and support the Houthis, which we’re in conflict right now. So, Russia will have to make a major concession on this- either they stop selling weapons to Iran, or the whole thing blows up. We’ll see how it will develop. – CJAY
