Encouraging or Inducing: Subsection (a)(1)(A)(iv) makes it an offense to encourage or induce an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such action would violate immigration laws. Aiding or Abetting: Under subsection (a)(1)(A)(v), engaging in a conspiracy to commit or aiding and abetting the commission of the offenses listed above is also illegal.
