The American people clearly sent a message that they want change, choosing a candidate far from the normal political mold. There have been multiple appointees who are clear, atypical, and divergent nominees, forcing change. Kash Patel is one of those change agents. I met Kash in person, and he was incredible. My entire family comes from a law enforcement background; my dad was a narcotics officer for his 30+ year career, and my brother still serves as a detective sergeant. Kash is a former federal prosecutor and national security official who served as a public defender, a federal prosecutor, and held significant positions within the Trump administration, notably as chief of staff to the acting Secretary of Defense and as a senior advisor on national security matters. I assume that Trump appointed Patel as FBI director due to his unwavering loyalty to theConstitution, his vocal criticism of the FBI’s “deep state,” and his promise to reform the agency. Whenever his confirmation hearing is announced, we want to rally every law-enforcement officer in the nation to attend.
