However, Senator Ron Johnson ran a calculation, and he found that the COVID shots were 55 times more lethal (25.1 vs 0.46 deaths per million doses) than the flu vaccines.

Why were there no dissenters within the CDC who could help course correct to prevent these fundamental leadership errors? If our leaders are too emotional to think rationally, they should not be our leaders! How is it that people who are too emotional to think rationally about science were put in charge of our scientific institutions during a pandemic? How is this confession by Walensky not a complete embarrassment to the CDC? WALENSKY: So many of us wanted to be helpful. So many of us wanted to say, ‘OK this is our ticket out. Now we’re done.’ So I think we had perhaps too little caution and too much optimism for some good things that came our way. I really do. I think all of us wanted this to be done. Nobody said waning. ‘This vaccine is going to work [laughs] oh well maybe it will wear off’. Nobody said, ‘well what if it’s not as potent against the next variant.’
