The Estranged Wife of a Transgender Woman Accuses Her of “Bulls—ing” Authorities. Isla Bryson, 31, was convicted of raping two women when he was still known as Adam Graham. His estranged wife Shonna Graham, 31, claims that Bryson is “bulls—-ing” authorities in an attempt to get an easier life in prison. Let’s take a look at the situation and how it unfolded… continued below vid
.The Context of the Situation
In 2020 Bryson appeared in court for the rape of two women while still using his birth name Adam Graham. Shonna Graham saw photos of him dressed as a woman with a blond wig and pink Lycra leggings as part of the proceedings and “fell out of bed laughing”. During the court proceedings, Bryson claimed she knew she was transgender at the age of four but did not make the decision to transition until she was 29, and is currently taking hormones.
Shonna Graham’s Claims
Shonna Graham claims that Bryson has always been a “monster” who is now “bulls—-ing” authorities in an effort to get an easier life in prison by making them believe he is transgender when he really isn’t. In her opinion, this supposedly explains why he has been moved from an all-male jail to an all-female jail pending his sentencing after his conviction for rape. She further states that she does not believe that any gender dysphoria actually exists but rather that it is a way for people to gain advantage or sympathy.

The Legal Perspective
From a legal perspective there are no guidelines preventing people from transitioning their gender while they are incarcerated or awaiting sentencing or trial – unless they have done so with malicious intent such as in this case where Bryson’s estranged wife claims it is being done with malicious intent in order to avoid harsher punishment or imprisonment conditions while serving time. This means that if Bryson has transitioned before his conviction then it would be up to the courts to decide whether or not his transition was genuine and warranted. The law also states that prisons must provide appropriate medical care for transgender inmates which may also be taken into consideration during any legal proceedings related to this case.
It remains unclear whether Isla Bryson legitimately identifies as transgender or if her estranged wife’s accusations are true and her transition is merely a ploy for sympathy and leniency from authorities pending sentencing after her conviction for rape. It will ultimately be up to the courts to decide if this is indeed true and what should happen next in terms of whether she receives appropriate medical care while incarcerated based on her gender identity status or if more punitive action should be taken against her for allegedly misleading authorities about her gender identity status prior to her conviction for rape. Either way, it appears there will be more developments on this story soon so stay tuned!
