The feds , I’m guessing, would let those panels rot out in the desert and just as old military MRE’s are thrown away, to be repurposed, likewise, those panels can be repurposed . Use them. My tax dollars paid for them.
The nice thing about the sections for the Trump bollard wall is that they are simply lying down, not installed straight up. They will last a long time in the relatively arid climate of southern Texas, either way, just like in Arizona. Those sections can be stood up, filled with concrete, embedded in the six-feet of concrete foundation, and then painted. Looks like Texas is continuing the same bollard-style wall, which is good. The sensors combined with the 34-foot wall are a real deterrent – CBP said the wall funnels border crossers to the older fence and open sections, where CBP concentrate their agents.
