The fact that there are people willing to replicate the internment of fellow citizens (like we did with the Japanese Americans and Hitler did with everyone that opposed him or were scapegoated) means it is not a gag – but that a portion of the population has no idea what the basis of being an American is all about.
Those politicians anywhere in the world who demand medical assaults, masking, lock-downs, segregation, lying to their people and to all races, vaxx passports, staged violence, forced and lengthy isolations, and every other liberty and freedom-killing tactic they can think of are accomplices of the ccp who are set upon world domination via propaganda and brain washing.
