• Literally sick of talking with foreigners about American values and interests.
• I was 15 when the US invaded Afghanistan and 35 when the US got out. Im so sick of the chaotic Middle East.
• America first, forget iran, Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, russia or any foreign country because those countries are not Americas problem at all, ever!
• That Vance statement was a saying a whole lot of words without actually saying anything. There is no way that Trump and Vance think that going to war with Iran will do anything but destroy their reputations.
• Iraq war combat vet here. Yes, Iraq had a shit ton of chemical munitions we found. Where it went? You’ll have to ask the three letter agencies.
• I’m giving Trump the benefit of the doubt for now, but, if he does end up allowing us to get dragged into this, it would be an unforgivable betrayal against his base
• “People are right to be worried about foreign entanglement… bu I believe the president has earned some trust on this issue.” And he will lose all of it if he takes any military action, breaking his commitment to America first.
• I work in the finance industry, normally news like this will make people very emotional and call in to trade to stable value funds, but today has been surprisingly calm. Seems most people aren’t concerned about what’s going on in the Middle East for now
