Role was eliminated because of offshoring. Had to train my indian offshore replacement. Was told they would be automating it with AI. Never happened. They just keep pouring on indian workers to keep up. The automation never happened, and quality is poor poor poor AND if you need any type of work outside of a well documented SOP, its “out of scope”
I have been saying it from the start AI will collapse under the weight of our expectation. The hype also makes me roll my eyes because the people “programming” it are incentivized to lie in order to get more funding.
