• That mother who brought her baby can’t arrange childcare with a near 200k annual salary and 10 days a month of legislative days is concerning bc if they can’t plan ahead for their own kids, how serious are they planning ahead for their constituents. • I have been working in IT for quite some years and I really feel like Tim is one of the ones who really wants everyone to work in the office for his own benefit to feel important. I can do my work from home without needing to hear every imput from self important human resource personal breathing down your neck about their vision of how things should be done. • I work remote, but its IT work. There is absolutely no reason I cant WFH. My work is ALWAYS done ahead of schedule. I agree the “type of work” matters. Also, work ethic and trust matters. If I’m performing above what’s expected, then leave me alone!!!
• If this is the case, Women should be draftable into military conscription, Men should be judged as an equal parent to Women in family courts and Women should be prosecuted for a finding slander against Men in cases of SA. We know this will never be the case so why do tolerate the 19th Amendment.
• As a software developer I have a better computer, with better tools, in a better environment at home than in any office where I have worked. My bosses and clients trusted me to work 2 or 3 days per week from home because I was consistently 300% more productive than my contemporaries. Also because I insisted on coming into the office for the rest of the time just for the communication and relationship-building. As a team, then department leader it was different because I had to be there whenever my staff had a question/needed a decision
• They are paid to represent the people. If they cannot do their job and show up for a vote. Then they should not be in that position. No proxy votes. Report to work and do the job and make the vote or don’t their choice. If they can’t work their vote does not count and their position is null and void
