The problem is that the gulags in America would be filled with patriots. Oh wait. That’s already happened to the Jan. 6th “mostly peaceful” protesters… nearly a year in jail for ‘trespassing’ upon land owned by the public and with no end in sight.
The people signing that petition and all those who agree are Americans-in-name-only. Permanent loss of citizenship and mandatory deportation is the appropriate consequence for their willingness to imprison those who simply disagree with them. A disagreement shared by thousands of scientists.

The irony is that those concerned about climate change are the actual climate change deniers. Since climate has always been changing, and continues to change, believing it is now a calamity to be alarmed about would make one a “climate change denier.” I fully understand the continually changing nature of climate. Therefore, I also understand the only question at hand is truly that of “climate sensitivity” to man-made influence. And, that influence is extremely difficult to quantify; especially when the science has been politicized.
