Attorney General Pam Bondi, facing intense scrutiny from conservatives for initially pledging more transparency only to later assert that no such list exists and that further releases could endanger victims and innocents, is under fire to deliver real accountability.
Bondi has since emphasized that an exhaustive DOJ and FBI review found no new evidence warranting charges against unindicted parties, but critics argue this smacks of a deep-state cover-up protecting powerful liberals.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) confirmed through a spokesperson that efforts are underway to bring Maxwell before the committee as quickly as possible, coordinating with the DOJ and Bureau of Prisons.
Burchett, who sent a letter to Comer last week urging the subpoena, told reporters he’s fed up with the stonewalling: “She’s the last one standing. There’s nobody else alive that can tell us anything… I’d like to get her there before she’s allowed to commit suicide as well.”
He stressed the need for Maxwell to expose “the operation, how it went down, who were the supporters of it,” aiming for true justice in a scandal that has long implicated elites like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and Prince Andrew—figures Maxwell has teased knowledge about in recent court filings.
