Kaitlan Collins had just finished questioning President Trump’s ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran, suggesting it might fall apart any second or never materialize. “That obviously still remains to be seen on the implementation side of this, and waiting to see if the firing does stop and if Iran and Israel do both agree to this.” “Just 24 hours ago, President Trump himself was suggesting a regime change in Iran… so the question is whether or not this still holds for the next few hours.” Then…mid-thought…Anderson Cooper cut in with breaking news: “Hey Kaitlan… I’ve just been given word that Iran—according to a diplomat who briefed CNN—has agreed to the ceasefire.” “That’s incredibly significant… That’s the first indication we have that Iran has agreed to this.” The timing couldn’t have been worse. Narrative collapsed….live on air.
