A joke next to our aid, even if they dodge the humanitarian label. State Department? Was a swamp, needed a shake-up, not just sidelined by the NSC, but retooled to win for America. • I’m not American. I spoke to someone the other day who had moved jobs because USAID was no longer funding the hospice she worked at. I thought, why were American taxpayers funding a little hospice on the other side of the world near where I live? Weird how these things have been taken for granted.
