- Imagine what kind of a person you have to be to enter a country illegally, Receive all kinds of benefits from that same country. Then going out on the streets to protest the country that you entered illegally and burn its flag. I have no empathy for these people at all.
- Im an American landscaper, and i can’t tell you how man jobs i have lost because illegals are cheaper than my company. So i know this is kinda messed up to say, but im glad about what ice is doing. It gets more work for me and other American companies, and it helps us make more money for our families. I know some people will call me selfish, but if me wanting to keep my family in a home with food on the table. Then I’ll gladly be called selfish.
- My wife is a Bolivian national. Her and I spent thousands on a lawyer to help us through the process of getting her green card and we spent thousands more in filing fees with USCIS, and yet even more money getting all her official state issued documents translated into English as per the rules set by US immigration policy…. She, just this past January had her petition for permanent residence in the US approved. Next step, we go for her full citizenship in 3 years and we will pay whatever those fees are and restart the process of getting in line and clearing all the steps of the process. Long story short…. she had zero time and zero sympathy and zero respect for those people who have come here illegally, choosing to game the system and do things the wrong way. She might be even moreso a hardliner than I am on this subject…. She loves the current president and she loves his dedication to enforcement of immigration laws. She laments the fact that all these illegal border crossings do, is make harder for her family to secure a basic travel visa for the US, making it harder for some of her family members to come visit us in Wisconsin.
