- Trump’s right. tariffs are a beautiful thing when used strategically. He’s the master at putting pressure where it counts, and this proves it. No one else had the guts to stop a war with tariffs, but Trump did.
- Whether or not Tariffs in general are good for the US economy is – at a minimum – debatable. However, the way Trump uses and threatens tariffs as a negotiating tactic to create leverage to renegotiate unfair trade deals and/or force countries to address problems that impact the US is absolutely the right way to use them. – JVL
