• know someone who eats horribly and now has lupus – she is so relieved to know what is wrong with her but continues to eat the same old way and no one has mentioned nutrition to her – another has designated a large pull out drawer in her lower cabinets for what she calls snacks – says the kids love it – it is nothing but junk food – her 2 yr old now says she doesn’t want supper she wants what is in that drawer – I know someone else who has her own cooking show, huge garden, but made a cake the other day that had 2 cups of white sugar in it and 2 sticks of butter and then she iced the cake and there was extra icing left so she scooped it out with a cookie scoop and put 6 scoops of icing around the top of the cake as decoration – the icing took 1 cup of sugar – it was a 2 layer cake and she cut the whole cake into six slices with each slice getting a cookie scoop of icing on top and she raved how delicious it was – so that ended up being 3 cups of refined sugar divided by 6 – no one needs a slice of cake that big – not to mention the butter and flour that was in it – she ate a good meal then put all the fat and sugar into her body and said she was so exhausted and couldn’t even put the dishes in the dish washer and had to go to bed – this is how their minds think – they get their fix one way or another – Markene
