I thought there was a rule “tie goes to the runner”. The reason for this rule is to make it so the game stays interesting. This way the people Paying the ticket price, will get value for their money with excitement to stay engaged in the game. With basketball when you see all the big stars do all kinds of traveling you’re only supposed to take what, two or three steps tops. And they’re just kind of, Just walking half court Sometimes, not even bouncing the ball. That kind of thing. it’s all about generating interest for the game to keep the audience engaged. No matter what league you watch it’s all about the offense. And the excitement of the score. In most cases defense is boring. that’s why leagues do whatever they can to promote high scoring to keep the audience engaged. And the NFL every year has rule changes Trying to find that elusive engagement to keep the audiences going to the game and not getting disinterested. Because if you have an audience that doesn’t care about your game. The game dies. it may be a slow death but nevertheless the outcome ends up being the same.

• Safe. Tie goes to the runner. No question about it. If it’s this close in slow motion, then while on the field, it’s clearly a tie, which goes to the runner. No, doubt, it’s actually an extremely easy play to call. There’s no doubt about it, at real speed, it’s a tie.
