• Exactly. NATO isn’t in jeopardy because of Trump—it’s in jeopardy because of freeloading allies. For decades, European nations refused to spend on their own defense, relying on American taxpayers to foot the bill. Now that Trump is demanding they pay their fair share, the establishment is acting like it’s some radical idea. If NATO countries actually invested in their militaries, this wouldn’t even be a debate. Trump isn’t undermining NATO—he’s saving it from collapse. – Rican Menace

NATO’s a fine little club—until you realize half its members are freeloaders, coasting on forty years of empty pockets while we foot the bill. The President’s just statin’ the obvious: put some skin in the game, folks. National security’s not a charity drive. I’d say it’s high time these allies stopped hidin’ behind our coattails and started investin’ in their own backyard. Rubio sees it—clear as day. Power respects strength, not handouts.
