Adams had been accused of accepting bribes from Turkish officials in exchange for political favors. But in a stunning reversal, federal prosecutors were ordered to dismiss all charges. Adams, who has long denied wrongdoing, wasted no time celebrating, claiming the case was “politically motivated” by the Biden administration due to his criticism of their immigration failures. The DOJ’s decision came without prejudice, meaning prosecutors could refile charges later. But for now, Adams walks free.

Everybody knows that the only reason this case went forward is because he spoke out against the Democrat party
The timing was highly suspicious. Looks like they wanted to punish Adams for saying stuff like this: “We have 500,000 children who had sponsors in this country that we can’t find. We can’t find them. We don’t know if they’re doing child labor. We don’t know if they’re doing sex crimes. We don’t know if they’re being exploited.”
If Biden’s entire family can sell access to the White House to foreign governments and businesses for tens of millions and get an unconditional pardon, I don’t see the problem with this highly politically motivated case getting dropped. – Apple Lamps
Im happy to see this. Yes, he had open arms for migrants in the beginning but he saw that it was bad for NYC and spoke up about it.
If a deal was made for Adams to fully cooperate with ICE and mass deportations, cool. Far better to get loads of illegal invaders out than waste time litigating some half baked corruption case started by the old regime. – North Star Right

Mayor Adams is a weasel and cannot be trusted However, it’s also a bad look to prosecute him Rather, I think the Trump administration was looking for an optimal solution; His support for removal of illegal migrants from a Sanctuary City. Even if they don’t actually help with the process as long as he stays out of the way and doesn’t fight it legally
