Cuomo: We saw the enemy at Pete Hegseth’s confirmation hearing (Cuomo is going MAGA soon?)

Chris Cuomo criticized the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing for prioritizing divisive culture war topics over pressing national security concerns during Pete Hegseth’s defense secretary nomination.

• They just sealed the deal on Pete getting into office. They sounded like a bunch of idiots. It blows my mind that some of these people are in any kind of leadership role at all
• If having an affair stopped you from getting a job then that house would be empty
• Wow! You are pointing out just what I saw – these Senators embarrassed themselves and embarrassed the Senate. We saw yesterday the major problem of our legislative bodies – the people who hold those positions don’t understand their mission.
• Did anyone else see at the bottom of the screen when Warren was talking how the paper she was holding was shaking like there was a fan blowing directly on her. Another one of these bloodsucking lifelong politicians who need to just retire already and go away.
• I don’t always see eye-to-eye with Chris, but he was “SPOT ON” on this one!! I was horrified at the DISGUSTING behavior by those who’re SUPPOSED to be our elected representatives in the Senate!! Their utter nastiness, holier-than-thou attitudes, and grandstanding about Hegseth’s personal mistakes in his marriage that have been forgiven by those involved, and his lack of support for DEI and their “woke” Marxist cultural ideals, was DESPICABLE!! I don’t think I’ve witnessed behavior at a Senate confirmation hearing that was THIS ABHORRENT since the confirmation hearing Justice Thomas was wrongly put through!!
• The Secretaries of Defense without prior military experience were Neil H. McElroy, Robert S. McNamara, Harold Brown, and Mark Esper. So is Pete Hegseth less qualified than them? Hegseth who served a total of 13 years in the National Guard and was deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan on the ground and in Iraq was an infantry platoon leader. Received 2 Bronze Stars and rose to the rank of Major. Also, why was no mention made when Kamala Harris ran for the presidency that her husband had a very sordid past with women including assault?… Democrats had no objection to Doug Emhoff being the potential First Man of America had Kamala won. Why is that?… As usual, as it pertains to Pete Hegseth, “Rules for Thee but Not for Me”. What a bunch of hypocrites Democrats and the mainstream media are!!!
