ABC is saying that Canada and Mexico could be considering retaliatory tariffs against the United States, but where are they getting this from? If you look at the entire news clip, there is no basis for this opinion. Neither the president of Mexico, nor the Prime Minister of Canada said that they are considering retaliatory tariffs. In fact, because the Prime Minister of Canada ran to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring, I would say the chances of Canada and Mexico complying with Donald Trump‘s request are going to be extremely high, and that is the point of tariffs, they are a bargaining chip.
