BREAKING – The Sakurajima volcano in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan has erupted. The plume reportedly climbed 5000 meters above the summit crater, sending rocks approximately 1000-1300 ft. The Japan Meteorological Agency is forecasting volcanic ash fall in the Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima prefectures. No deaths or injuries have been reported.
