When I woke up this morning, my dog Alex was hiding under the covers and looking worried. I asked him what’s wrong. He said, “I’m afraid you won’t be able to vote for Donald Trump next year.” He had stepped on the remote and accidentally turned on CNN. I picked him up and said, “don’t worry bello, nothing is gonna stop that man from running or me from voting for him.” He said “what about all the trials and indictments?” I told him, “this is just what the Democrats do because they have no dignity or honor. They’re not really serious about putting him in jail, or it wouldn’t have taken 7 years. Plus, Trump is the only one people hate enough to vote for Biden. If Trump doesn’t run, Biden is irrelevant.” His little face brightened up and he said “oh I get it now. Thanks, let’s go for a walk.” – Joey Mannarino
