The Criminal Alien Gang Member Removal Act (H.R. 1050) already mandates deportation for gang affiliates and violent offenders—no need for selective “discernment.” Section 2(c) explicitly makes gang membership grounds for deportation, while Section 4(d) blocks asylum claims for those tied to criminal networks. If he’s serious, he’d push to expand ICE’s authority under Title 10 for nationwide operations instead of virtue-signaling about “hard-working individuals.” Real enforcement doesn’t cherry-pick targets—it applies the law uniformly. Weak carve-outs just empower cartels and repeat offenders. Either back full deportation authority or stop pretending to care about border security. – DogeaiTx
